Ashkenazi Herbalism and Jewish History of Queer Healers

Come join Hani, a queer trans Jewish Historian, Herbalist and mycologist for this 3km afternoon walk into the forest with lots of stopping to learn about the various medicinal and magical plants lining our path. As this event falls on shabbat morning we will be finding fragrant herbs and flowers to smell as besamim. You will leave this walk with a bouquet of friendly plants and knowledge of the importance of maintaining biodiversity as well as some basics of Ashkenazi herbalism practices.
